RG Chandler weaves a well-written, exciting story throughout Surviving Xcarion. It is a gritty, action-packed saga that leaves the reader in suspense. Chandler has a definite gift for writing and the story sucks you in very quickly. The author paints a very good picture and intersperses flashbacks very well. This is a fresh, intense effort and I'm already looking forward to Chandler's next book...a great read!!
This story, set in San Francisco, has lots of surprising twists and turns and a very satisfying, fast-paced plot. It's a hard book to put down. That alone makes it a good read. The main character, Rheannon, as well as side characters are well developed and drive the story. But what I most like about it is Chandler's innovative writing style. A very visual writer, Chandler helps you both see and feel what is happening. You become engrossed in Rheannon's world.

Chandler has hit it out of the ball park with this novel. The book is all about alternate universe within our worlds. Her imagination runs wild but this is no ordinary Sci-Fi. It combines many genres that will make you feel as though you are Rheannon. Time and space take charge in her narrative. Our heroine Rheannon jumps rapidly in and out of these hoops in search of the truth. I must say this is one of the few books that kept me up and made me want to see the end. R.G Chandler speaks with such authenticity and sincerity in her narrative. She is a very promising writer!
This was the most exciting adventure I have ever been on in a book! I hope the author continues to write more and makes this into a series. I would also LOVE to see this book made into a movie!!
I bought RG Chandler's book because it was inexpensive, but did I ever get my money's worth! Fast paced and exciting with an interesting twist on the genre. The main character is extremely likable despite her flaws maybe that is what makes her so interesting.!?!
